About us

Dear guests, as of November 1st, Hotel Hilda will be a self check-in hotel. Guests will receive an email prior to arrival with an entry code both to the hotel front door as well as their assigned room. Nonetheless, a receptionist will be available from 10 am-6 pm to answer any questions or concerns. All other services will be intact, such as cleaning and breakfast.

Our focus remains to deliver quality service and to contribute to environmental, social and economic development of the Icelandic Tourism Industry.

“Vakinn” which represents the quality and environmental system for the Icelandic Tourism Industry are currently approving our operations with the systematic assessment based on quality standards. The aim of Vakinn is to provide guidance and support and promote social responsibility of tourist service providers.

We are strong advocates in promoting quality in hospitality and tourism services. Hotel Hilda is a fully licensed operation, fulfilling all legal requirements to operate as such.
